Job Description:
Tasks
The Head of Sales & Handling Western India is responsible for:
- Steering of inside and outside sales reps/teams, e.g. allocation of accounts and performance management
- Identification and exploitation of growth potential
- Leading customer interface on local level
- Responsibility for organizing and opening new stations in the geographical area
- Implements LCAG’s strategy and plans on the sales and handling side into meaningful activities under the specific local circumstances
- Steering and controlling of the cost budget as well as proactive initiation of cost-saving measures
- Collaborate with regional spanets BLR & DEL
- Maximization of earnings and yields
- Recruiting, managing, motivating and developing subordinate staff
* Participate in other duties as assigned
Requirements
The ideal Head of Sales & Handling Western India should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelors degree / vocational training required
- Masters degree desirable
- Minimum 4 -7 years of experience in the Airfreight Logistics or Air carrier with at least 2 years of hands-on experience as a team lead, demonstrating the ability to guide, motivate, & manage teams effectively in high-pressure environments
- Alternatively, good knowledge of comparable international airline / logistics industry structures
- Fluency in English, knowledge of local language Marathi & Hindi will beneficial
- Professional knowledge of Logistics, Airline industry
- Well versed with Western India air EXIM spanet
- Drive for digitalization & DSA exposure
- Excellent ability to work under pressure
