Aircraft Painter - Tucson, AZJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our team. The Aircraft Painter will be responsible for preparing and painting aircraft and component parts to meet customer specifications and high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces prior to the application of primer, topcoat, sealant, and erosion tape.
- Apply primer and topcoat to aircraft and component parts.
- Layout aircraft to meet customer specifications.
- Inspect, perform touch-up, and polish painted surfaces to achieve a finished appearance.
- Perform and document work performed according to appropriate manuals and regulations.
Essential Skills- 5 years of corporate jet painting experience.
- Customer service or aviation work experience.
- Basic PC skills.
- Basic knowledge of pulling maintenance manuals and IPCs from a computer.
- Basic knowledge of regulations dealing with the transportation of hazardous materials.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form regarding individual and aircraft status.
- Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
Pay & Shift:Work EnvironmentThe position is based in a temperature-controlled facility on the south side of Tucson International Airport. Most work will be performed during swing shifts, as the majority of maintenance is completed at night. The first week of employment will be dedicated to an orientation class.

This is a 4-month Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, Arizona.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
