ABOUT US

Since 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivvik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737 200C, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.

Air Inuits Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to the companys essential mission of providing safe, timely and high-quality air service to the people living and doing business in the enchanting region of Northern Quebec.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Maintain accurate and current aircraft records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Technical Records Data Entry in various aircraft, engine and propeller logbooks and entries in our electronic database;
  • Ensure that Month-end information is completed and distributed accordingly;
  • Ensure that the applicable Engine Trend Data is entered into the computer on a bi-weekly basis;
  • Report incomplete or missing documentation to the Supervisor Technical Records for remedial Action
  • Under the direction of the Supervisor Technical Records, train and guide the Technical Records agent in carrying out the functions of the TR Agent;
  • Submit regular Aircraft reporting to internal departments and outside agencies as required;
  • Carry out all other assigned task whenever required.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Have successfully completed a Technical records exam and be familiar with he applicable regulations;
  • Worked in the Technical Records office for a period of at least 6 months;
  • Be familiar with the following software: Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Bilingualism is preferred (French/English: spoken and written). Inuktitut is an asset;
  • Team spirit;
  • Able to work meticulously and possess good organizational skills;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Ability to show initiative and work well under pressure;
  • Must be available for occasional northern travel;
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Location – Air Inuit Technical Center – Montreal-Trudeau Airport
  • 37.5 hrs per week (Modified work weeks are offered to help our employees balance work and personal life)

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy.
  • Salary starting at $22.85/hour
