Job Title: Soldering Technician/ Electronics Assembler Job Description
As a Soldering Technician, you will be part of a team supporting various high-profile programs, including radar, electronic warfare, cyber solutions, and training and logistics systems. You will work with different branches of the U.S. military and other international customers, contributing to important defense and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform soldering tasks in compliance with IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 standards.
- Utilize printed circuit knowledge and experience to build and inspect circuit card assemblies.
- Work in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) environment using hand tools.
- Operate microscopes for detailed assembly and inspection tasks.
- Follow electronic work instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
- Communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
- Troubleshoot electronics at the component level.
- Inspect the quality of soldered parts.
Essential Skills- Preferred experience in IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 soldering.
- Knowledge and experience in printed circuit board assembly.
- Proficient in working within an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) environment.
- Skilled in using hand tools for circuit card assembly.
- Experienced in working with microscopes.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Good computer skills for working with electronic work instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- IPC-610 Certification.
- IPC-620 Certification.
- IPC J-STD-001 Certification.
- One-year experience in soldering/cable assembly.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Strong mechanical build experience with the ability to interpret written instructions, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with cable termination and crimping specifications using both automated and hand tools.
- Experienced with manual and automatic wire strippers.

Work Environment
Work in a huge manufacturing facility in Oldsmar that prioritizes safety and regulation. The facility is climate controlled, providing a comfortable work environment with well-spaced workstations for each employee. The first shift runs from 5am to 3:30pm Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off, and the second shift runs from 3:30pm to 2am Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
