Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, chartered, cargo and emergency air transport services to Nunavik and beyond- 24 hours a day, 365 days a year - for over 45 years. The Ramp Agent is mostly responsible to load and offload cargo et passenger baggage from the aircraft. He also ensures the safe movement of the aircraft on the tarmac.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail safely and efficiently
- Marshal aircraft and guide them to parking positions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures
- Operate ground support equipment, including tugs and belt loaders
- Perform inspections of equipment and ramp areas
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crew, and other ground staff
- Perform other ramp duties as required to maintain smooth flight operations
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Successful completion of Transport Canada security screening and obtaining a restricted area pass and an ADM (D/A) YUL airside drivers license
- Bilingual (French and English); knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Punctual and reliable
- Available to work shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, split shifts) as required by operational needs
- Ability to work under pressure.

COMPENSATION
The salary is determined according to the company’s compensation policy.
Hourly rate – $ 20.79 - $ 25.42
