Position Summary
The Material Handler keeps manufactured product moving effectively through the plant. He is responsible for managing raw material stores, pulling material required for manufacturing operations, moving parts throughout the plant, and packing finished product for shipment to customers. He will manually lift materials as well as operate power equipment needed to move heavier loads.Proveer el material necesario para las órdenes de producción, el empaque del producto final para exportación, así como manejar el equipo necesario de forma correcta para realizar las maniobras del movimiento del material.

The operator takes his instruction from production control coordinator and production supervisors: and works safely and efficiently. He is subject to a general machine shop environment (including dust, oils, metal chips, etc.) Job requires occasional heavy lifting and requires the Material Handler to stand for extended periods of time. He is responsible to communicate well with supervision reporting problems and providing feedback on operation status. The Material Handler follows shop procedures and maintains order and cleanliness of all work areas.El operador toma instrucción del Coordinador de Control de Producción y de los Supervisores de producción: y trabajar de manera segura y eficiente. Meggitts Querétaro facility in Mexico contributes around 80 of the Braking Systems North American structural component capacity. Some 243,000 sq ft of manufacturing space is dedicated to painting wheels and building cylinder blocks and torque tubes for North American commercial applications. They are exported to our Danville facility in Kentucky, USA, for final assembly and distribution.
The facility is located in the Parque Aeroespacial, 1 km from Querétaros International Airport and 14km from the major export trade routes.

Originally part of the Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems, this facility was included in the Airframe Systems division under the 2019 new organisation structure.
