Job Summary:

The HR Generalist will work alongside more senior HR professionals to provide HR support to organizational leaders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role has the opportunity for advancement to a Human Resources Business partner and above.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact, providing first-line support for all Human Resources functions within designated client groups.
  • Conduct intake meetings and support the resolution of employee relations matters in a manufacturing environment, ensuring fair, consistent practices and fostering ongoing leadership development.
  • Support HR Business Partners with non-exempt recruiting activities, coordinate temporary staffing needs with third-party providers, and manage the applicant tracking system, facilitating effective communication between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Liaise with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to oversee workers’ compensation claims across the Crane Aerospace & Electronics Group, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements such as FAA Drug-Free Workplace, ADA, payroll audits, and mandatory training.
  • Oversee Workers Compensation, Return-to-Work and other like programs, interacting closely and directly with employees, leadership and third-party service providers to support employees and mitigate cost
  • Participate actively on the Philanthropy and Employee Activities Committee, contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Variety of project-based work, including but not limited to organization/efficiency improvement for the HR Group, staffing support, talent management and organizational structure and development
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or management

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous HR and administrative experience preferred
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures with HR Generalist knowledge required including applicable state and federal laws
  • Skills/Abilities: Ability to handle highly confidential information and manage information with utmost integrity. Demonstrated strong MS Office skill (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Power Point); Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and team facilitation skills
  • Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • Education / Certification: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • HRCI or SHRM Certification preferred
  • 1+ year(s) HR Generalist experience preferred

Salary range: $79,000- $97,000. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
