What you’ll bring to the team:
Essential
- Previous experience in advising on complex Employee Relations activity in the Netherlands such as disciplinary and grievance management
- Detailed working knowledge of Dutch employment law and applicable legislation, Dutch sickness processes
- At least 3 years of working experience in similar position within HR, with demonstrable experience in managing sickness absence and thorough knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (such as the Gatekeeper Act, ARBO act and employment law provisions)
- Ability to influence and effectively build relationships with client group
- Experience of working within a fast pace, multi-site organisation in HR, working at all levels of the organisation and cross functionally.
- Ability to demonstrate and combine a methodical and organised approach to work situations with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures, identify issues and use initiative in providing innovative solutions.
- Must be able to speak, write, read and understand Dutch language on working professional level.
Desirable:
- Completed higher professional education in HRM, employment law or related field
- Experience with HR software for personnel administration, absence registration and other HR processes (Workday, Arboned)
- Previous experience in an international organisation
- Previous experience in working within an union environment
Location & Hours of Works
This full-time role will be based in Amsterdam and will be 40 hours per week. Hybrid working with 3-5 days in the office per week.
