GE Aerospace is comprised of three divisions, the largest of which is Commercial Engines & Services (CES), the world’s leading provider of commercial aircraft engines and services with $27B in annual revenue. The Executive CIO for Customer Experience (CX) will be a key Digital Technology (DT) leader in the CES business, reporting to the Chief Information Officer of CES and aligning to key business to the GM, Customer Experience for CES and other key stakeholders within the business.
The Executive DT Leader – Customer Experience will:
- Act as a key thought leader in the processes, data & technology required to support GE Aerospace airframe, airline, and MRO customers.
- Connect teams and processes across multiple organizations to simplify the way GE Aerospace does business in support of its customers and internal operations. Embrace new technology such as AI to introduce new ways of thinking and working.
- Lead a variety of software products, including, but not limited to: engine monitoring & diagnostics, engine fleet management, customer eCommerce portals, and material ordering. Ensure robust product roadmaps that align to critical value streams and improving customer touchpoints.
- Lead a team of 125 digital technology professionals across multiple countries and a budget of $60MM to deliver software and data outcomes in support of customers and internal CES teams that directly support our customers.
- Partner with Safran, GE Aerospace’s 50/50 partner in the CFM joint venture, to ensure operators of CFM engines have a “One CFM” experience as customers of the JV.
- Recruit and develop world-class global technical talent in the GE Aerospace Digital Technology organization.
- Act as a practitioner and coach of FLIGHT DECK, GE Aerospace’s proprietary Lean Operating System, to accelerate the deployment of strategic capabilities and value to the CES business, and to drive standard work in the way in which critical data & technology outcomes are designed, delivered, and supported.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 12 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 15 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 17 years of professional experience
Minimum 9 years of professional experience in a variety of IT functional and leadership roles
