Tasks
Your main tasks as Business Development Ground Handling Services include, among others:
- Building and expanding customer portfolios by identifying and onboarding third-party airlines and businesses
- Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform independent spanet analysis and monitor spanet developments
- Develop and implement strategic measures for ground handling services
- Analyze warehouse costs and propose measures to meet financial targets
- Ensure transparency in the profitability and commercial performance of warehouses
- Drive initiatives to achieve EBIT margin targets (>8)
- Develop spaneting and sales tools for ground handling services
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with customers
- Steer sales activities, including guiding ground handling sales representative
* Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
- High school certificate or A level/ Abitur or equivalent required
- Bachelors degree required
- Masters degree desirable
- 5 years of work experience in a relevant business field (e.g. business development, business economics, strategy, commercial and/or sales)
- Fluency in English language required
- German language desirable
- MS office, Excel, Word & PowerPoint as user
- Willingness to travel
- Manage constant time pressure
- Manage high stress levels
- Function is in functional lead of 1 employee
- Have an excellent business sense
- Be highly cost consciousness
- Be highly productivity driven
- Must posses a work permit in the U.S.
