Whether supporting major global programmes or developing the next generation of actuation technologies, our people are at the heart of everything we do.As part of Safrans global network, joining Safran Actuation Systems UK means becoming part of a highly skilled, collaborative and forward thinking team with opportunities to grow, innovate and make a meaningful impact in the future of aerospace.We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Manufacturing Engineering team as a Manufacturing Engineer – Industrialisation at our Wolverhampton site.Your RoleAs a Manufacturing Engineer focused on Industrialisation, you will play a key role in bringing new products and processes into production within a transformative manufacturing environment.You will plan and lead the implementation of manufacturing processes on site, including facility setup, equipment installation, commissioning, and process validation, ensuring full production readiness.This will include leading insourcing projects, transferring Production facilities & processes into the plant, and ensuring they are stable, efficient, and capable from day one.Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that manufacturing systems meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence

Job Requirements:

What You'll BringEssential:-Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field-Experience in manufacturing engineering/industrialization-Relevant experience of project management & risk mitigation planning-Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and control plans-Good understanding of machining, assembly and testing processes-Proven ability to deliver process validation, pilot builds, and production ramp-up-Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and process capabilityDesirable:-Experience in aerospace, automotive or high-precision manufacturing environments-Familiarity with AS9100 and AS9145 standards -Exposure to insourcing or manufacturing transfer projects-Knowledge of SPC / process capability (Cpk)Here, we craft excellence together.If you're ready to take your career to new heights and be part of a company that's crafting the future of flight, apply today.Why Safran?A global presence: Be part of a global aerospace, defence & space business with over 100,000 Colleagues, across 300 sites in 30 countries.Inclusive & empowering environment: We celebrate our differences and believe they make us stronger.
