Role Summary
* In this role, you will serve as a Manufacturing Engineer supporting Boeing Defense, Space & Security programs in Hazelwood, MO. You will develop and implement manufacturing and tooling methodologies, participate in IPTs, ensure production readiness, and resolve complex technical problems. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.
* A minimum of 5 years of related work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years with a Master’s degree, or equivalent with a PhD.
* Experience in airplane subsystems, production readiness, and composite fabrication.
* Ability to participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes.
* Ability to conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability meets requirements.
* Ability to review and approve installation plans, tooling orders, and line stock checks.
* Ability to work onsite in Hazelwood, MO, full-time. Preferred Skills
* You will have
* B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
* Composite Fabrication experience.
* Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers.
* Experience with 3D model-based instruction.
* Familiarity with IVT, CREO, CATIA, NX, IPDM Teamcenter, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA.
* Experience with VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D printed parts, Maker Space, Moonshine Shop, ImDev, ICIDO, multi-monitor collaborative rooms, and enterprise gated processes.
* Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci) or CINCOM. Job Duties & Functions

* Participate in Integrated Product Teams to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
* Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs while maintaining program architecture.
* Lead and implement manufacturing plans for air vehicle subsystems.
* Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure process capability meets requirements.
* Resolve technical problems impacting performance, cost, or schedule.
* Validate and ensure production readiness of complex solutions.
