Are you our new Regional Director Europe?
The Regional Director for Europe will oversee a broad network of airports across multiple European spanets, ensuring consistent, high-quality ground operations in a complex and diverse operational environment. This role requires a strategic-minded leader who can manage varying regulatory frameworks, supplier landscapes, and operational expectations across the continent. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across all assigned European stations. In addition, you will represent the organisation in cross‑border forums, championing best practice and aligning regional performance with global objectives. This position demands strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate multi-country operations with both strategic insight and operational rigour.

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all European ground operations meet safety requirements, regulatory compliance, and company policies.
- Leading a multi-country team, promoting high performance, talent development, and operational consistency.
- Driving operational delivery across diverse spanets, managing KPIs, performance reviews, and improvement actions.
- Establishing strong partnerships with suppliers and major European airports, ensuring contractual and performance alignment.
- Supporting the SVP GO in implementing cross‑regional strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
- Managing regional budgets, optimising costs, and challenging variances where needed.
- Coordinating large-scale audit programs, risk assessments, and safety initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
- Representing the company in European aviation forums, regulatory discussions, and multinational stakeholder meetings.
You are our ideal candidate if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business Administration, or a related field; Relevant experience may qualify
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operational management within the aviation industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple locations.
- Strong understanding of IATA ground handling standards and relevant aviation regulations (EASA, ICAO, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and drive change across diverse teams.
- Track record of achieving operational targets and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
