Responsibilities:
- Manage programs with varying development scope, greater than medium complexity and requiring high customer internal/external interaction. Cost and Schedule considerations are of higher risk to the company.
- Supervise the work of program and project staff and be responsible for add-on work and proposal tasks from first customer interaction, defining requirements, basis of estimates, negotiation and contract award.
- Participate in business resource planning/tracking in coordination with other corporate entities and responsible to formulate a team that can fulfill program requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring program issues and problems are identified, tracked, and resolved; and for program risk management and ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, tracked, and managed.
- Responsible for conducting routine meetings, interfacing on project/program status, developing proposals, researching/fact-finding, coordinating audits, and negotiating with project/program stakeholders to ensure enterprise initiatives meet cost, budget, and schedule constraints.
- Support the Corporate Operations Program Director and the Security & Safety Leadership team in fulfilling their responsibilities for the Enterprise.
Must-haves:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field
- Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in project or program management
- Minimum 1+ year experience leading teams made up of 3+ cross functional team members
- Experience with contract negotiations, and the difference in contract types.
- Experience with being the primary focal for a customer.
- Ability to execute coordination of all elements of a program, i.e., Program integration management. Perform task coordination, resource development, stakeholder identification, etc. Capability to manage program lifecycle conflicts, prioritize competing priorities/requests, and evaluate available resources.
- Leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews.
- Requires ability to manage complex situations, delegate authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.
- Requires skills in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking, spaneting, and literacy in the program management disciplines.
- Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Advanced degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field
- Proficient leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews
- Requires ability to manage complex situations, delegate authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situations

- Experience with the evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes. Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes.
- Requires ability to execute coordination of all elements of a program, i.e., Program integration management. Perform task coordination, resource development, stakeholder identification, etc. Capability to manage program lifecycle conflicts, prioritize competing priorities/requests, and evaluate available resources.
- Requires ability to identify, assess, and control financial, technical, and legal risks.
- Experience with managing a complex project or larger program.
- Demonstrated financial acumen to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
- Experience with Implementing NIST compliant solutions
- Experience with CMMC rules and regulations
- Prior Security process related to Information Systems and Technology
- Prior experience managing physical security and safety projects
- Advanced degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field
- Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
- Working knowledge of Program Management Institute Program Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
- Managing projects using Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), agile and or spiral development models
- Managing projects requiring Earned Value Management
- Understanding with application tools and data architectures
- Ability to reinforce the usage & application of Corporate PM tools.
- Ability to participate in PM process & tool improvement initiatives for the Business Area.
- Ability to keep program management informed of function & process changes within project controls.
- Ability to enhance program management expertise in the staff
- Ability to establish new & further refining existing templates, tools, & guidelines for program documentation & execution
- Experience with ensuring compliance with approved Corporate and ISO 9001:2000 Policies and Processes
