• ​This job is a member of the Information Technology Team within the Tech Ops Technology Division.
• Responsible for providing technical leadership for assigned IT development personnel and be responsible for the technical design and implementation of mid-range software development of the assigned web services and/or applications.
• Key aspects which will differentiate this role are: possessing working knowledge of latest industry best practices and trends within data frameworks and management, cloud frameworks, microservices, web services design, rules engine design, and software optimization techniques.

• Develop and design scalable, secure, and robust software solutions
• Develop back-end services with NodeJS, TypeScript, Apollo GraphQL, MongoDB, and .Net
• Develop front-end interfaces with Angular
• Provides technical guidance, direction, and decisions to team developing custom web applications and services
• Works with product management, business analysts, developers, testers and architectural teams to define strategy and requirements
• Applies software engineering best industry practices to web applications and services
• Work on multiple tasks and be able to change directions in case of priority adjustments
• Works with Application/Enterprise Architects to establish development and deployment standards, and ensures adherence to technology platform decisions

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field experience/training
• 5+ years’ experience in NodeJS and TypeScript
• 5+ years’ experience in MongoDB
• 5+ years’ experience in front-end development with Angular, HTML5, CSS, SASS
• 3+ years’ experience in .Net Core, Azure & Azure DevOps
• 3+ years’ experience in GraphQL
• 2+ years’ experience in Microservices

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Master’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field experience/training
• 3 years technical leadership of IT personnel
• 2+ years’ experience HELM & Terraform
• Airline experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Experience in Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration
• Experience with hw/sw resource management, Microsoft Azure cloud, and microservices
• Experience in service optimizations for performance
• Ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, to be delivered in a successful and timely manner
• Demonstrated experience leading large scale projects, and well-rounded technical background in current data management technologies
