Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Actively seeks critical hardware items (further referred to as items), which require Design Engineering support, in coordination with functional Supply Chain departments
  • Defines problem and in coordination with relevant departments drafts the scope of actions necessary for items resolution from Supply Chain perspective
  • Builds problem statements for each item in terms of what, when, why needs to be addressed and defines negative impact on timeline, costs or reputation
  • Identifies resources required to resolve each item
  • Supports proper prioritization should the resources be over-utilized
  • Coordinates with similar function(s) in Design Engineering organization
  • Manage action lists for critical items and/or supports maintenance of such action lists owned by other departments
  • Responsible for critical items tracking and supports resolution in timely fashion
  • Escalates expected delays and items with poor progress to Supply Chain Leadership
  • Communicates progress within concerned Supply Chain departments
  • Helps to identify problems´ Root Causes and supports systemic changes for continuous improvement to prevent the issues from reoccurrence

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in technical subject from an accredited University or High School Diploma with compensating work experience in the subject matter
  • Fluent English and Czech
  • EU work permit
  • Previous experience in Aerospace is preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing of Aerospace components is preferred
