Job Summary
The Manager of Cargo Compliance ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and operational standards across all cargo stations. This role is critical for mitigating risks, maintaining certifications, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies. The manager leads regulatory audits, oversees critical compliance programs, and ensures the company meets evolving industry and customer standards.

Your activities
Station and Vendor Audits:
- Conducts annual regulatory station audits to assess compliance with TSA, FAA, IATA, and SPI standards.
- Audits key vendors, especially those performing cargo screening, to ensure compliance with TSA and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepares detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations and tracks the resolution of findings.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensures full compliance with TSA, FAA, and U.S. Customs regulations.
- Leads the Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF) program, ensuring adherence to TSA standards.
- Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the TGC Customs Platform, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and facilitating efficient cargo processing.
- Updates TSA forms and training annually to reflect the latest regulatory requirements.
Pharmaceutical Compliance:
- Manages compliance for pharmaceutical handling operations, including maintaining CEIV certification and adherence to GDP (Good Distribution Practices).
Business Partnership
Safety Management:
- Oversees the Standard Managing Procedure (SMP-14) for warehouse safety, ensuring alignment with SPI standards and minimizing workplace risks.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Promotes a safety-first culture through proactive training and awareness programs.
Critical System Oversight:
- Ensure all staff are properly trained on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, compliance status, and operation performance for management review.
Station and Vendor Audits:
- Conducts annual regulatory station audits to assess compliance with TSA, FAA, IATA, and SPI standards.
- Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
Program & Certification Management:
- Manages compliance programs, including CCSF and CEIV, ensuring certifications are maintained and operational goals are met.
- Coordinates compliance schedules and ensures readiness for external audits from regulatory bodies.
Your profile
Minimum Qualifications:
- US Citizen
- HS Diploma
- Minimum 7 years of experience in cargo operations, regulatory compliance, or related roles.
Preferred Qualifications (if applicable):
- Strong knowledge of TSA, FAA, IATA, OSHA, GDP, and U.S. Customs regulations.
- Expertise in managing compliance programs such as CCSF, CEIV, and TGC Customs Platform.
- Experience conducting audits and preparing compliance reports for both stations and vendors.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex regulatory requirements.
- Certification in compliance management or safety-related disciplines (e.g., OSHA, CEIV) is a plus
