Bring your experience and expertise and help lead the Bell Piney Flats Aircraft Paint Team. This position will manage Aircraft Paint operations including production, safety, quality, and personnel.
What you’ll be doing as a Manager Aircraft Paint
- Achieve Bell and Textron safety established goals for reportable incidents and lost time injuries.
- Manage and administer the day-to-day departmental activities to ensure all aspects of safety, quality, cost, and schedule are met.
- Lead, manage, and set strategy and goals for the Paint Department.
- Support and delegate tasks.
- Oversee personnel training, performance, and evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with Part 145 Repair Station and Quality Control Manual.
- Coordinate cross functionally to prioritize deliverables to meet the needs of the business.
- Oversee upkeep of shop equipment and tools and cleanliness of workstations.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert on aircraft painting.
- Conduct resource planning and capacity analysis.
- Oversee inventory control and paint related materials.
- Review and validate departmental budget with the Senior Aircraft Services Manager.
- Prepare and present performance status and execution reports as required.
- Provide span time estimates for proposed projects.
- Ensure personnel and resource requirements are identified, validated, and allocated to the correct areas to ensure on time completion of projects.
- Lead and develop direct reports.
- Reflect and promote Textron, Bell, and Piney Flats values and behaviors.
