Position Summary

This Country IT Manager position is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of a country-wide digital and information technology strategy that maximizes the utilization of defined corporate IT initiatives. The country strategy must satisfy the needs of management while optimizing the return on investment of resources used in acquiring and developing digital and information technology-based solutions.

Responsibilities

Responsible for development of the annual country information technology plan, budget forecast, and subsequent review and reporting. Ensures budgets are fully integrated into the division and country budgets. Responsible to the country and assisting the business in the acquisition process from the onset of initial evaluation, due diligence and integration plans.

Responsible for all digital and information technology initiatives within the country, either through direct control or indirectly by means of corporate enterprise system utilization, establishing information systems standards, defining standard planning formats, exercising power of approval, and managing activity reports.

Implement and maintain corporate approved information systems policies and practices and ensure that proper standards are maintained in the administration of approved policies, especially related to cyber security and compliance.

Assist the Region VP Digital & IT, Region Digital & IT leaders and Enterprise Digital & IT leaders to develop standards and procedures that enable division and country IT resources to jointly develop or integrate business systems that can be shared by other divisions using standard corporate technologies.

Direct the deployment of information technologies and system applications that are to be used uniformly throughout the country and divisions.

Review IT talent and ensure talent is developed and managed across the country including succession planning for all key areas. 

Make recommendations for changes in form or size of the IT organization throughout the country in line with Parkers IT Career Model and Talent development Process.

In partnership with the business, establishes annual goals for the IT leaders at each division that are aligned with the business. Regularly interact with the team to assess progress to goals and assist in addressing challenges. Organizes and administers annual performance assessment of the country IT team.

Responsible for evaluating the effectiveness and competence of information technology personnel within the country by participating in formal recruiting and talent development processes as outlined by employee relations and management development policies. 

Qualifications

•    Degree: University Graduate in a Business, Engineering or Information Technology Discipline•    Positions: Seven or more years’ experience as a division IT manager and Enterprise Systems manager or equivalent.•    Training or Experience:  - Computing and Telecommunications -   Systems Analysis - Business Environment -    Project Management -    Browser Based Technologies -    Personal Computing Technologies -    CAD/CAM and PDM Tools -    Enterprise Resource Planning Software -    Programming and Data Base Skills
