Job Description:

Tasks

  • Ensuring a smooth operation of the BI platform applications for LGBS and its worldwide LH Group customers
  • Proactive monitoring of interfaces and automated processes regarding data integrity, performance and timeliness
  • Deriving necessary measures within LGBS IT in case of analyzed risks or incidents
  • Supporting our internal and external customers within the 2nd level support and ticketing (trackspace) processes
  • Providing consulting services for internal LGBS business units and customers in LH group
  • Conceptual design and implementation of new applications for reporting, analytics and planning within the BI platform landscape
  • Customizing of the supported applications
  • Being an active contributor and driver of automation and digitization in BI IT and the supported processes
  • Promoting the SAP BI platform within the Delivery Center organization
  • Acting as product manager for selected BI IT applications
  • Supporting customer projects and internal projects

* Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements

  • Academic graduate in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Informatics or similar studies
  • Experience in supporting and managing SAP applications in the BI environment
  • Experience in using or implementing SAP BI tools (SAP BW 7.5, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere) with technical focus
  • Good knowledge of English (both oral and written)
  • German language skills are a plus
  • Good understanding of BI data flows and processes
  • Experience with 2nd level support and ticketing/ trackspace) processes
  • Project management
  • Firm PC-User Know-how, especially MS-Office
