Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager partners with plant leadership and other functional support teams to implement the organizations HR strategy to ensure effective recruiting, selection, development, and retention of current and potential team members. This role is located at a plant and division headquarters and helps support some division initiatives and division functional teams.
Supervision and Interaction: This position has direct reports.
Reports to the Division HR Manager.
Responsibilities
• Directly or indirectly implements recruiting strategies for hourly and salaried employees. • Develops and manages relationships with staffing agencies. • Leads recruitment, selection, and offer extension for senior roles. • Oversees performance management practices; manages the succession planning and talent management cycle. • Monitors effectiveness of processes and leads continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HR processes. • Conducts Talent Reviews and provides feedback on talent within the plant. • Oversee the development and administration of local and corporate training offerings. • Monitor the effectiveness of training and development. • Support development of senior roles. • Responsible for managing all employee concerns and disciplinary processes. • Facilitate the annual merit review cycle; ensure appropriate allocation of variable compensation.• Liaison with group and corporate leadership compensation and benefit schemes. • Lead, direct, evaluate, mentor, coach, and develop local HR staff.
Qualifications
Education: University Degree (or international equivalent); Advanced Degree Preferred.Minimum Experience: Minimum Experience 6 to 8+ Years in HR; Preferably in manufacturing.
