As a Group Leader here at Honeywell, you will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and leading a high-performing team to achieve strategic objectives within the Aerospace sector. You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Cambridge, ON location working afternoon shift Monday - Wednesday 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM and Thursday 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM
In this role, you will coordinate assembly and inspection of product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers ON TIME. You will be responsible for your work area to provide a safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to handle safety, production and quality improvements. You will participate in continuous improvement activities.
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for secret security clearance and ACSO.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead corrective action investigations for afterspanet services
- Act as first escalation point and quickly escalate problem to the next level when needed
- Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness
- Populate daily reports.
- Host daily Tier production meetings
- Drive production operation Improvements
- Coordinate team activities.
- Promote/Use Daily Standard work/Standard operating Sheets
- Support Customers and Customer Service with timely, accurate responses
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 5 years of production assembly experience
- Minimum 1 year of soldering experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office 365.
- Minimum 1 year of experience interpreting electrical or assembly drawings.

Monday - Wednesday 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
Thursday 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

The annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $78,000 in Cambridge, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
