Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in budget preparation of physical Facility maintenance and repair via record keeping methods and assessment of same.
Maintains monitors and on a daily basis evaluates recycling programs and waste handling processes for their effectiveness.
Knowledgeable in implementation coordination and execution of physical Facility preventive maintenance
programs.
The expected results should be reduced equipment down-time, ensured full life expectancy of equipment, more effective budget preparation based on historic data, 90 planned task-oriented manpower utilization and improved service order response.
Coordinates Security and parking activities to ensure adherence to appropriate regulatory agencies. FAA, Airport Authority, etc.
Assists with all phases of Facility Maintenance, repair and monitoring as needed to efficiently operate a 24-hour industrial facility.
Accomplish such other duties as may be reasonable assigned by management.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Two years of Lead Facility and/or maintenance experience.
Knowledge of methods used in maintenance including basic knowledge of the following trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, grounds keeping, appliance repair, and electrical wiring; standard practices in the tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities; safety practices and procedures related to the building trades; basic math to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Abilities and Skills:
Skill and Ability to effectively use a variety of hand tools; review and identify projects needed to be services by outside contractors.
Follow oral and/or written instructions; communicate effectively in both oral and written form; maintain work logs.
Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work assignments.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds.
Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as walk extended distances.
Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and/service stands.
Must have normal corrected hearing and vision.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.
