What you can expect as a Director of Business Development at West Star Aviation:
The Business Development Leader is accountable for driving enterprise-level sales growth and cultivating strategic customer relationships across OEMs and sites. Acting as the face of the program, this role combines industry expertise with customer-centric strategies to maximize revenue, retention, and spanet share. The base compensation varies between $175k - $200k. This full-time role may be based at any of our main sites (East Alton, IL; Chattanooga, TN; Grand Junction, CO, Perryville, MO) or structured as a hybrid arrangement, and will require travel as needed. This position reports to the Chief Customer Officer.
You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:
- Own revenue generation for OEM accounts at both enterprise and site levels.
- Customer Relationships. Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with existing, new, and future customers.
- Support Technical Sales Managers (TSMs) and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) with farming and hunting activities.
- Develop and execute strategies to secure the best customers, aircraft programs, events, modifications, and pricing, aligned with FP&A optimal capacity mix.
- Partner with CXO leadership on key initiatives including customer quick-connects and leveraging data insights to increase retention.
- Serve as the face of the organization-acting as industry experts, customer lifelines, first points of contact, and promoters of organizational goodwill.
- Ability to travel up to 50 domestically and internationally.
