The Director, Crew Contract Implementation will be responsible for working across all groups and union partners to ensure the new Pilot and Flight Attendant labor contracts are implemented according to agreed upon expectations. This leader will oversee the procedural implementation of more than 55 critical milestones for both the APA and APFA newly negotiated contracts. This leader will engage with leadership across many departments to ensure alignment on deliverables and priorities related to contract implementation.

What youll do
  • Leads the charge in implementing transformative labor contracts, optimizing crew operations, and enhancing employee satisfaction
  • Develops and enacts regular reporting functions to Senior Leadership Team on status of contractual implementations and acts as owner for attainment of implementation milestones
  • Leverages expertise in labor relations and crew management to shape the future of the airline as it relates to contract implementation
  • Utilizes excellent project management skills to develop and execute implementation plans
  • Collaborates with Labor Relations and leadership team to review, evaluate, and negotiate crew labor contracts
  • Serves as leading representative and primary point of contact with senior leaders of represented workgroups for CBA initiative implementation for company
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with other operational managers (e.g., in IOC, Flight, Inflight, Airport Operations)

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Planning, Aeronautics or related area or equivalent experience/training
  • 7 years of progressive leadership experience managing cross-departmental teams

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Experience in Crew Management and in-depth knowledge of Crew Management Systems preferred
