Job Description:

As a Government Relations Director at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the companys government relations strategy for our Aerospace organization.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with government officials, industry associations, and other stakeholders to advocate for Honeywells interests. You will monitor legislative and regulatory developments, analyze their impact on the company, and develop strategies to address potential challenges and opportunities.

The Director of Government Relations will have a significant impact on Honeywells ability to navigate the complex landscape of government policies and regulations. By building and maintaining relationships with government officials and policymakers, this role will influence the development of policies that align with Honeywells business objectives. Overall, the Director of Government Relations will have a direct impact on Honeywells reputation, business opportunities, and ability to drive sustainable growth.

Our products include aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components, and navigation technologies. Across all platforms, Honeywell enables safer, more efficient, and more sustainable air travel, including advancements in autonomous operations and supersonic flight. Honeywell Aerospace will separate from Honeywell International in the second half of 2026. As it transitions toward becoming an independent $17B global aerospace and defense company with more than 21,000 employees, Europe will serve as a critical hub for policy alignment, innovation, defense modernization, sustainability, and emerging technologies. Across Europe, Honeywell Aerospace delivers cutting-edge technologies and advanced manufacturing. Sites in the UK, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, France, and Ireland support capabilities in avionics, flight controls, propulsion components, satellite communications, radar, and next-generation connectivity solutions.

You will report directly to our VP Government Relations, and you’ll work out of our Bracknell location on a Hybrid work schedule.
