Job Purpose
Drive continuous improvement in operations control by conducting thorough post-facto analysis, identifying operational deviations, and delivering insightful performance assessments. Streamline processes, monitor compliance, and optimize resources to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with Head Tactical Ops to implement strategic initiatives, enhance operational effectiveness, and drive improvement in the Ops Control process.
Key Accountabilities
Functional Activities
Ensure adherence to established best practices and operational standards, conducting post-facto analysis to identify deviations and inefficiencies in the day-to-day operations.
Collaborating with team leads to optimize ways of working, addressing operational challenges and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Oversee the development and implementation of effective operational policies and procedures, aligning with the broader organizational strategy.
Conduct regular proficiency assessments of operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to maintain a high level of operational excellence.
Work closely with department heads and stakeholders to establish performance metrics and targets related to Day of Operations, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
Provide insights and reports on the performance of operations, utilizing data-driven approaches to present a performance view to the Head Tactical Ops.
Identify risks and opportunities related to Day of Operations, provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities for continuous improvement.
Provide guidance and support to department leads within the Day of Operations sub-department, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand the evolving landscape of the airline industry, staying informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices, and incorporating these insights into the operations control strategy.
Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry best practices within the management domain, incorporating these insights and ensuring compliance.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or its Equivalent.
