Role Introduction
Report To: Cargo Standard, Policy and Operations Support Manager
As part of our dedicated Cargo Service Delivery team, you will be to all freighter handling systems and solutions development, covering ramp handling, aircraft loading and weight and balance functions.
You should be an operational Subject Matter Expert (SME) and serves as a steer project team member for managing the activities of operational solutions development, testing and implementation within Cargo Service Delivery and across the globe for CX network.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Project Champions to consolidate detailed requirements on freighter load control system and new loading reconciliation system
- Lead and manage CSD digital projects with operational and technical stakeholders both internally and externally to safeguard productivity, safety and sustainability objectives
- Work with cargo IT team to refine the system design and customization specification
- Provide system administrative support, including but not limited to creating user access hierarchy and aircraft profile configuration
- Work with project team to develop the customization features, and give feedback on the user experience (UE) and user interface (UI) design
- Conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) with project champions and cargo IT team to safeguard systems and products are worked-as-designed, as well as delivered as per requirements before acceptance
- Establish the rollout plan along with the project team & engaging all Project Champions on defining the roles, timelines and successful criteria for new system implementation
- Conduct process gap analysis and review the current procedures and design to-be process
- Ensure the revised procedures are fulfilling regulatory compliance and organization conformance
- Feedback the outstanding and enhancement items with project team, and work with the vendor on scheduling the delivery of outstanding items
- After project closure, collaborate with system stakeholders/vendor to design a post-flight report to facilitate data analytics on utilization and compliance rate
Requirements
- Tertiary education or equivalent.
- 3-5 years’ experience in airline operations and project management
- Essential freighter handling and load control knowledge
- Sound project management skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and planning skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer knowledge including database and analytical management capability
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- Ability to travel overseas extensively when required
