PAY RATE: $35-43/hour

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Clearance: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or one active within the past 24 months; U.S. Citizenship required).

Summary:

Independently assemble, disassemble, repair, and modify aerospace components following maintenance practices and product specifications.

Remove and replace components to support repair, replacement, or testing for product serviceability.

Troubleshoot and resolve routine and complex issues during operation, maintenance, and overhaul of deliverable products.

Coordinate assembly, disassembly, and overhaul tasks to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.

Perform functional and diagnostic testing of aerospace/missile systems using monitoring instruments and automated test equipment.

Conduct validation and verification testing to ensure system and component serviceability.

Isolate and correct mechanical or electrical faults with minimal engineering assistance.

Document repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections to maintain regulatory and contractual compliance.

Inspect components for cleanliness and serviceability; identify and document discrepancies.

Execute modifications to ensure deliverable products meet requirements.

Requirements:

Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or one active within the past 24 months; U.S. Citizenship required).

High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in V-22 maintenance and modification.

Ability to travel up to 30; must be willing to travel on short notice to domestic locations, including CONUS military bases and Hawaii, for varying durations.

Preferred Skills:

FAA Airframe & Powerplant License

Quality Assurance experience

Extensive depot-level modification experience
