Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
* Perform component part removal of various assemblies, to aid and assist in the repair proc3ess by exposing potential hidden damage.
* Write up damage found and review technical data in OEM manuals.
* May perform other duties commonly facilitated in other departments such as components repair, and assembly, e.g. structures, and bond. Required Skills:
* Extensive use of hand tools, for teardown of component assemblies.
* Must be able to read basic blueprints.
* Must be able to review and navigate OEM manuals and drawing.
* Must be able to use close tolerance measuring tools (i.e. scales, micrometers, calipers, depth gages, etc.)
* Able to stand, kneel, bend and lift heavy objects (50lbs.), for extended periods of time. Education and Experience Requirements
* High school diploma, GED equivalent
* Minimum 3 years’ experience.
* Experience performing mechanical assembly in an aircraft, automotive, or similar environment is preferred.
* Experience looking up data in drawing and OEM Data.
