Working in an MRO environment, the Structures Technician will disassemble, repair, fabricate parts as necessary, reassemble, install, and document maintenance actions on heavy-lift helicopters. This position primarily supports full rebuilds, occasionally supporting fleet heavy maintenance checks.

Responsibilities

• Review task cards, read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machine tools to remove, inspect, fabricate replacement parts, repair, reassemble, and document work.
• Perform frequent removal and installation of standard and blind rivets, drilling, reaming, and riveting to close tolerance.
• Document maintenance actions as required.

• 4+ years of experience in aircraft sheet metal structures repair.
• Experience fabricating parts.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machine tools.
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and maintenance manuals.
• Experience with sheet metal repair, riveting, and airframe structures.

• Experience repairing aircraft structures
• Must be willing to submit to testing on the first day, including installing fasteners and understanding Bend Allowance or Bend Deduction.
• US Person per client ITAR regulation.
• Tools required (basic list attached; more specialty sheet metal tools are beneficial).
• Open to 1-2 years of experience if reasonably local (northern OR/southern WA).
