Job Description:

Location: Poland (OCONUS) Contract Position STS Technical Services is seeking skilled M88 Mechanics to provide expert Field Level Maintenance Support for the M88A1 and M88A2 Recovery vehicle systems. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and operating tracked vehicle recovery systems to ensure mission requirements are met. The primary work location is Poland, and the ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and support a long-term deployment is required. Responsibilities

Field Level Maintenance: Deliver services for M88A1 and M88A2 tracked vehicle recovery systems, ensuring their operational readiness.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair M88A1/A2 Recovery Vehicles or similar U.S. Army tracked vehicle equipment with proficiency.
Technical Manual Adherence: Interpret and follow technical manuals associated with M88A1 and M88A2 vehicles to ensure compliance with specifications and directives.
Mission Requirements: Understand mission needs and execute maintenance tasks under limited supervision to meet objectives.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with your team to complete assigned tasks and support operational goals.
Proactive Approach: Demonstrate self-motivation in identifying and completing necessary tasks with minimal guidance.

Required Skills

Field Level Maintenance Expertise: Strong competence in providing maintenance support for tracked vehicle recovery systems, specifically the M88A1 and M88A2 vehicles.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing M88A1/A2 Recovery Vehicles or similar U.S. Army tracked vehicle equipment.
Technical Manual Proficiency: Ability to interpret and follow technical manuals related to M88A1 and M88A2 vehicles.
Self-Motivated: Strong initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to meet mission objectives.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a security interim clearance for CAC card issuance.
Passport: Must possess a valid passport with at least 2 years of validity remaining.

Experience

Essential: Minimum of five years of experience working on the M88 platform (M88A1 and M88A2 vehicles).

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Some college coursework is preferred.
