We are searching for an experienced Lead to coordinate the maintenance crew daily. Experience running a crew and maintaining our types of equipment for our 135 operations is ideal.
- Responsible for leading the daily work of aircraft mechanics.
- Responsible for keeping Alaska Seaplanes Aircraft and components in a safe and airworthy condition.
- Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance on aircraft.
- Maintain adequate general hand tools to properly perform duties
- Directs the work of other aircraft mechanics by prioritizing and setting daily work schedules.
- Provide quality control surveillance and/or on-the-job training as necessary as directed by the DOM
- Help develop in-house procedures to assure aircraft and components are in a safe and airworthy condition.
- Supervises and performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspection, and repairs.
- Work in accordance with the Manufacturer’s Maintenance Manual, Alaska Seaplanes approved maintenance program, and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Repair or replace a wide variety of aircraft components, parts and accessories.
- Assure that all aircraft released for return to service have all required documents on board.
- Completes in-flight evaluations with a pilot following maintenance or repair work. As needed.
- Assures that Aircraft Maintenance Status is updated daily.
- Performs other duties as assigned
