Aerotek is looking for qualified Hydraulic Technicians!
Job Title: Hydraulic Technician
Pay Rate: $32/hour - $52/hour depending on experience. Per Diem is offered!
Shifts: 1st shift : 8am - 4:30pm
Location: Aurora, Oregon
Essential Functions:
- Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, test, and certify hydraulic systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters.
- Working in a bench repair and testing environment
- Perform overhaul, repair, and testing of rotor craft hydraulic components and component parts.
- Fabricate and install hydraulic tubing and hoses.
- Service hydraulic systems.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals.
- Clean and inspect hydraulic systems, components, and parts for damage and wear.
- Replace or repair damaged or worn hydraulic components and parts.
- Fabricate and install hydraulic lines, hoses, and pipes using hand and power tools and tool benders.
- Utilize special tools and/or equipment to perform tests and checks as required to confirm hydraulic component or aircraft hydraulic system serviceability.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in hydraulic repair including manual tube bending.
- Experience in Hydraulic Component Repair/Overhaul in an I-level/Intermediate Level or Depot environment.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals.
- Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic systems
- A&P license highly preferred, but not required.
