Helicopter Structures Mechanic

Job Description:

Perform structural repairs, modifications, and installations on various helicopter models.
Fabricate, fit, and install sheet metal components in accordance with approved technical data.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and structural repair manuals to ensure proper alignment and installation.
Conduct inspections to assess structural integrity and airworthiness.
Utilize precision measuring instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
Repair and replace damaged fuselage skins, bulkheads, floors, and other structural components.
Ensure all work is properly documented per FAA and company standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all safety protocols and best practices in aircraft structural maintenance.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 to 4 years of recent helicopter sheet metal experience in a Part 145 repair station on helicopters.
Experience working on various helicopter models (e.g., Airbus, Bell, Sikorsky, Leonardo, MD Helicopters).
Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication, repairs, and structural assembly procedures.
Must own a complete set of standard sheet metal tools.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
Ability to lift heavy components, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
