Responsibilities:
- Perform rework, maintenance, modification, pre-flight and post-flight inspections, and troubleshooting on commercial aircraft.
- Conduct functional tests and inspections on pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to identify and document mechanical and/or electronic faults.
- Execute pre-flight and post-flight checks and verify completion of maintenance and modification actions.
- Assist with system and sub-system inspections and aircraft readiness for delivery.
- Ensure all work performed meets company standards and FAA regulatory requirements.
- Plan and schedule tasks independently with guidance from the lead technician; work is reviewed for quality and compliance.
- Foster a team-oriented, safety-focused culture built on respect, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED and 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) license required (or equivalent experience qualifying for an FAA Repairman Certificate).
- 1+ years of experience in aerospace, aircraft fabrication, or manufacturing.
- **1+ years of hands-on avionics and/or electrical system experience.
- Ability and willingness to work any shift including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on the 787 program.
- Background in airline, MRO, or overhaul operations.
- Experience with team leadership in a formal or informal role.
- Proficiency using computers and operating systems in a technical environment
