About the Role:

The Flight Readiness Technician B provides essential production and delivery support to the Delivery Center. This role is responsible for improving production efficiency, enhancing safety, and ensuring the highest level of product quality. Technicians perform final component installation, verification, and systems functional testing, as well as rework, maintenance, and preflight/post-flight activities that support aircraft delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform flight test installations and conduct aircraft functional testing.
• Assist in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, maintenance actions, and modifications.
• Resolve discrepancies identified during aircraft operation and functional testing.
• Verify accuracy of completed work, including performing self-inspections.
• Support pre-delivery system and subsystem inspections and aircraft readiness tasks.
• Plan, prioritize, and schedule assigned activities with guidance from a lead; work reviewed upon completion.
• Work variable shifts—including days, nights, and weekends—based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of avionics and/or electrical experience.
• Minimum 6 months of experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
• Understanding of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention and associated risks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
• Experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Client Production System environments (e.g., lean manufacturing principles).
• Familiarity with Field/Flight Line Operations.

Education & Experience:

Associate Level B:

• High School diploma/GED and typically 1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
