Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for validating production processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the delivery of precision-engineered components to our customers.Your responsibilities will include:•Conducting First Off Inspections of manufactured components to verify production readiness and ensure compliance with specifications.•Validating manufacturing setups and confirming dimensional accuracy against engineering drawings, process sketches, and customer requirements.•Ensuring all inspection activities, records, and documentation are completed in line with company procedures, industry standards, and quality requirements.•Investigating quality concerns, supporting root cause analysis, and helping implement effective corrective and preventive actions.•Collaborating with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing performance.•Supporting internal and external audits while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.•Creating, modifying, and maintaining CMM programs, ensuring inspection methods remain accurate, efficient, and up to date.•Providing training and guidance to new employees and shopfloor personnel on CMM operation and inspection best practices.•Driving a culture of quality, accuracy, and continuous learning throughout the manufacturing environment.This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional who enjoys problem-solving, working with advanced inspection technologies, and making a direct impact on product quality and operational success.

Job Requirements:

What you'll bring : Apprenticeship within the Manufacturing sector – Aerospace, Automotive or similar industry (Dependant on experience minimum 3 years) Experience and familiar with company procedures and processes within an organisation accredited to ISO, CAA, BSI or equivalent standards Within Manufacturing sector for a minimum of 3 years •Team support & training in the use of CMM's•Technical & Product Knowledge•Quality-focused mindset•Strong communication and reporting skills•Problem-solving and continuous improvement orientation
