Technical Operations
Technical Operations includes the maintenance and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.
Job overview and responsibilities
- The Facility Maintenance Mechanic performs general building maintenance with emphasis on electrical, troubleshooting, including AC & DC circuits, high voltage (440) high amperage and some 400-cycle machine.
- Industrial wiring and the ability to read and follow wiring schematics and work without supervision. – Low and high voltage repairs to all building equipment.
- Troubleshooting, installation and repairs to all building electrical equipment and trades, such as air handling units, plumbing and steam fitting, fire systems and conveyors.
- Required to work in high height and confined spaces.
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
QualificationsRequired
- Able to read technical diagrams and documentation.
- Five years of experience in working in facility/industrial electrical system
- Technical Education and required qualification and certification to work in electrical system as per Brazil regulations.
- Must be team-oriented person and must be willing to share and seek improvements.
- Communicates effectively with departmental leadership and other divisions and departments - Able to process information and put together action plans to correct deficiencies
- Ability to complete all forms and reports required to the handle the facility maintenance activities
- Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil for any employer without sponsorship
- Must possess a valid local driver’s license
- Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends, and holiday
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
