Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician
Job Description
The Electrical Assembly Technician is responsible for building, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting marine‑grade Power Distribution Units (PDUs) and electrical control panels used in vessels and offshore systems. This role ensures all assemblies meet marine electrical standards, classification society requirements, and company quality specifications.
Responsibilities
• Assemble electrical panels, power distribution units, and control cabinets according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Route, terminate, and label wiring harnesses, cables, and components following marine electrical standards.
• Install breakers, contactors, relays, busbars, terminal blocks, meters, and protective devices.
• Perform crimping, soldering, ferruling, and cable dressing to professional marine‑grade standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams, BOMs, and layout drawings.
• Identify component specifications and ensure correct installation per design requirements.
• Provide feedback to engineering for design improvements or manufacturability enhancements.
Essential Skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with electrical assembly and mechanical assembly.
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for panel wiring and soldering.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical wiring and schematic issues.
Additional Skills and Qualifications
• Familiarity with Department of Defense (DOD) and naval systems.
• Experience with wire assembly and electronic assembly.

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and every other Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
