Description:
The CH-47 Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing CH-47 Chinook helicopters to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety and technical standards. This includes troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and replacing defective components.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on CH-47 aircraft.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems.
- Perform component replacements and functional checks.
- Ensure all work complies with military and OEM maintenance standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance actions and repairs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of CH-47 maintenance experience.
- Military or FAA A&P certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Army maintenance procedures (TAMMS-A).
- Ability to work in a high-tempo operational environment.
