About the Opportunity:
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and maintenance requirements related to Part 61 and Part 91 operations.
Serve as a mechanic liaison, maintaining positive relationships between the company, clients, and the FAA.
Conduct inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance, and component changes in accordance with manufacturer or FAA-approved procedures.
Plan and coordinate inspection schedules and required repairs during non-scheduled flight times.
Open, manage, and document inspection and repair tasks through work orders.
Review and compile documentation to ensure accurate and complete maintenance records.
Maintain required records and logbook entries, confirming aircraft readiness for service.
Respond promptly to maintenance discrepancies and coordinate timely mechanical repairs.
Report airworthiness status to the General Manager and forecast aircraft downtime for effective maintenance planning.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
1–3 years of general aviation maintenance experience or equivalent operational experience.
Familiarity with aircraft maintenance scheduling, records management, and customer relations.
Knowledge of aircraft maintenance management and record-keeping programs.
Current and valid FAA-issued Aircraft and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
Proficiency in preparing and completing maintenance reports and work orders.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to pass a background check and authorization to work in the U.S.
