Your RoleAs a General Assembly Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across a variety of manufacturing and assembly techniques while working towards a Level 3 Engineering Technician qualification with a local College.This is a 42-month apprenticeship programme, combining on-the-job training with classroom-based learning.What youll be doing:•Completing rotational placements across manufacturing and repair areas•Learning to produce and refurbish aerospace components and assemblies•Interpreting engineering drawings and planning work activities•Developing skills in assembly, inspection, testing, balancing and winding•Working to aerospace quality standards and internal processes•Operating machinery in line with standard operating procedures•Following all health & safety requirements•Contributing to team performance and continuous improvementAdditional programme details:•Years 1–3: 1 day per week at College, 4 days onsite in Pitstone•Exposure to support functions including Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Industrialisation and Logistics•Assigned mentor and buddy for ongoing support•Regular reviews with college, management, mentor and HR

Job Requirements:
