Job Title: Aircraft TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Engine Line Technician, with limited supervision, assists with inspecting, troubleshooting, adjusting, repairing, and other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of aircraft engines, systems, and components on a variety of engines. This position requires the use of Personal Protection Equipment in a safe and clean work environment according to manufacturer’s specifications, approved procedures, and customer specifications. Additionally, the role involves preparing and completing appropriate documentation and training logs in a timely manner and may perform as a Qualified Inspector (QI).
Responsibilities
- Assist in high-quality inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining of aircraft engines, systems, and components.
- Utilize proper tooling in a timely, clean, safe, and professional manner.
- Accurately order required parts as needed.
Essential Skills- Experience as a Powerplant Mechanic
- Engine maintenance experience
- A&P certification
- Powerplant maintenance expertise
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 2-4 years of experience working on aircraft engines
- A&P certification
Work EnvironmentCandidates will work inside the Engine shop, which is a very clean, organized, and temperature-controlled building. Available shifts include: 1st shift from 6:00am - 4:00pm Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 2nd shift from 2:00pm - 12:00am Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, and a weekend shift from Friday-Sunday working 3 12-hour shifts with a 10 shift differential to compensate for the reduced hours.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
