BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o High school diploma/GED and 5-10 years of experience.
o Ability to understand and interpret blueprints
o Ability to comprehend engineering requirements and put them into practice
o Independently perform complex, depot-level structural repairs and modifications.
o Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to verify parts.
o Work with various materials, including aluminum and composites.
o May mentor lower-level technicians.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Extensive experience with composites, structural repair, and precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
o Ability to work as a lead technician, guiding lower-level employees, and working independently.
o Must perform strenuous work, including lifting 25-50 lbs, working in confined spaces, and working at heights.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS:
Candidates must be available to work any shift. 1st shift 6am-4:30pm, 2nd shift 4:30pm-3am.
