Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
* Modify, repair, assemble, fabricate install structural components and aircraft parts
* Working knowledge of FAA regulations, their interpretation and application.
* Performs approved repair operations to structures including sheet metal and other structures.
* Repairs flight control surfaces, engine cowling, and fuel cell/tank maintenance
* Overhauls mechanical assemblies including repairs and part replacements.
* Documents maintenance/repair per company & FAA requirements on aircraft forms, records and workbooks
* Must own and be skilled in the use of structures hand tools related to the responsibilities described above.
* Ability to read precision measuring tools and instruments.
* Works with close tolerance dimensions and various types of fasteners using common hand tools, special instruments and pneudraulic tools. Education and Experience Requirements:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Minimum 5 years work experience with large commercial aircraft
* Must be able to provide copies of training records.
