As a certified repair station, we specialize in every aspect of aircraft maintenance for the service life of various fleets. We maintain narrow and wide body, small to large, regional to long-haul aircraft, and operate one of the largest storage and reclamation operations in the world. We are looking for an Aircraft Mechanic to join our team and provide high-quality maintenance services in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Research technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components.
- Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.
- Read and interpret manufacturers and airlines maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Complete appropriate identification, inspections, routing tags, and forms, and make appropriate entries into the Component Removal Log upon removing units from an aircraft, engine, or other major component or subassembly.
- Disassemble and inspect aircraft and engine parts for wear or other defects.
- Repair or replace defective engine parts and reassemble and install the engine in the aircraft.
- Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories.
- Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including cleaning, servicing, greasing, moving parts, and checking brakes.
Essential Skills- 1-5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Experience with commercial aircraft, particularly larger than a CRJ 900, Boeing, and Airbus.
- Current valid driver’s license.
- Airframe certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A&P license preferred.
- Basic set of tools required.

Work Environment
The work environment includes an aircraft maintenance hangar with exposure to high-intensity noise levels, extreme temperature changes, materials identified on Safety Data Sheets, working at heights or around moving machinery, and aircraft fuel tank entry. Physical demands include sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level, occasional crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weight up to 50 pounds unassisted. Equipment operated includes aircraft ground servicing equipment such as tugs, tractors, hi-lifts, trucks, servicing carts, and test equipment, hand tools, rivet guns, and drills. Protective equipment required includes goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, and safety harnesses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marana, Arizona.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
