Role IntroductionReports to: Aircraft Engineer.
You will be part of our Engineering team in Hyderabad, ensuring our aircraft are maintained to the highest standards to deliver safe and reliable travel experiences. You will support daily operational requirements, learn essential technical skills and gain valuable exposure across engineering operations. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in aircraft maintenance in a dynamic international airline environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform aircraft maintenance for Cathay Group and third‑party aircraft under supervision
- Support operational duties including diversions, charters and disruption recovery
- Monitor third‑party service provider performance and follow up on issues
- Perform servicing and maintenance for ground equipment and station facilities
- Support Cathay Quality Assurance, Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department and / or third-party audits, follow up and rectify the audit findings within the required timelines as directed
- Manage station administration including documentation and passes
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Attend station meetings and engage in team communication
- Support emergency, accident and crisis response duties as required
Requirements- Must have completed a Diploma in aircraft maintenance engineering or equivalent.
- Must have 3 years of working experience in an airline or MRO.
- Relevant experience on A330/A350 is desirable.
- Aptitude and understanding of aircraft maintenance operations.
- Willingness to undertake induction and on the job training.
- Awareness of aircraft and ramp safety, company procedures and human factors.
- Ability to work organised and focused.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
