Perform inspections, scheduled heavy maintenance, and modifications at the West Virginia Air Center. Work in a PART 145 / MRO facility in a fast-paced, project-based environment. The aircrafts worked on are CRJs (regional jets).
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and scheduled heavy maintenance on CRJ aircraft.
- Conduct modifications as required.
- Work in a PART 145 / MRO facility.
- Read and interpret blueprints for repair and installation tasks.
- Complete tasks within specific timeframes as provided in work orders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
Essential Skills- 4+ years of C&D check experience.
- Experience working in MRO or DEPOT level work environments.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Must provide own tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with heavy maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks.

Work Environment
This position supports the a Service Center at the West Virginia Air Center. Due to growing business demands, additional lines of maintenance and inspection work are being added. The environment is fast-paced, supporting heavy C/D checks on CRJ aircraft for regional airlines. The typical turnaround for aircraft overhaul is 7-10 days. Work hours follow a southern swing shift with 4 days on (12-hour days) and 3 days off, alternating weekly. The facility operates 24/7 with shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The dress code is casual (T-shirts and shorts/jeans) with steel-toed shoes required. Standard PPE, including safety glasses/goggles, is mandatory at all times on the shop floor. Additional PPE may be required based on the task. The company provides fall protection training and all required safety training during the initial week-long orientation.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
