Job Role
* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning jets, turboprops, and reciprocating aircraft, as well as performing routine, preventative, and AOG (aircraft on ground) maintenance in corporate aviation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation mechanics and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. Required Education and Experience Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* A valid A&P License.
* A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in Corporate Aviation. (Textron Products Preferred)
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
* Must have proficiency in using mechanical and diagnostic tools.
* Must have a strong understanding of aviation safety standards and maintenance procedures.
* Must have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Must have the ability to document maintenance activities clearly and accurately. Essential Job Functions
* Identifies and corrects malfunctioning jet, turboprop, and reciprocating aircraft, components, and systems.
* Performs routine/preventative/AOG maintenance, inspections, and modifications; on customer aircraft.
* Diagnose and correct malfunctions in aircraft systems and components of manufacturers products.
* Conduct airframe, turbine, turboprop, and reciprocating engine troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and ground runs.
* Perform a wide range of mechanical duties, including disassembly, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustments on aircraft systems.
* Utilize various tools and equipment, including tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, vacuum gauges, dial gauges, timing lights, hand tools, and specialized aircraft tooling.
* Document maintenance activities accurately in the aircraft maintenance operating system using an assigned laptop.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
